Role Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to support the Controller on all financial affairs including reviewing interim financial statements and reconciling and preparing supporting schedules. This position is also responsible for general and inventory accounting, maintaining the organizations overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual, analytical and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, professional verbal, and written communication. Looking for time management skills, accountability, prompt follow through and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
-Associates Degree in Accounting - Bachelor’s Preferred -5-7+ years of Accounting experience -Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures -Exceptional verbal, and interpersonal communication skills -Flexibility -Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills -Works well with others -Ability to demonstrate professionalism with all clients -Ability to show sensitivity to confidential matters -Dependable -Takes initiative, follow through, and works independently -Strong work ethic in time management -Exceptional attention to detail
